GlassProLive 360

Overview

GPL360 stands for GlassProLive 360.

GPL360 is a suite of virtual reality applications developed for Saint-Gobain Glass, enabling immersive visualization and comparison of different glass façade configurations using high-resolution 360° images.

This project demonstrates the capabilities of the XR-Platform to create innovative immersive experiences, supporting specification and promotion of glazing solutions.

Why GPL360?

With the increasing complexity of façade projects and the need to quickly convince clients and specifiers, GPL360 addresses several key challenges:

  • Immersive 360° visualization of glass façades, in mono or stereoscopic mode.
  • Interactive comparison of multiple glazing configurations: movable split line, product selection, technical data display.
  • Multi-view navigation: exterior, interior, close-up.
  • Three modes of use:
    • GPL360_Solo: single-user, ideal for trade shows or standalone demos.
    • GPL360_Local: multi-user, in-person, guided by an SG specifier.
    • GPL360_Remote: multi-user, remote/hybrid meetings.
  • Meta Quest 3 compatibility: 4K display, 120Hz refresh rate, optimal performance.
  • Easy scenario and content customization by SG Glass teams.

Scenarios

  • Events or Trade shows: individual immersive experience on the booth, intuitive and impactful.
  • Specification meetings: multi-user guided experience, in-room or remote, with comparison and voting features.
  • Sales support: VR headsets can be loaned or sent to clients/prospects for autonomous exploration.
  • Internal training: interactive discovery of glazing properties and the GlassPro Live process.
